About Me

Based in Hamilton, Ontario, I am an editor and proofreader with an uncanny eye for detail, an excessive amount of patience, a logical mind, and a good sense of judgement.

I am a recent graduate from Simon Fraser University's Editing Certificate Program, and I have been freelance editing for the past three years. My educational background is in music, fashion history, and museums, where I've received a BMus, BA, and MA respectively. I also have a deep personal interest in yoga, wellness, spirituality, personal growth, and doing the 'inner work.'

Over the course of my career, I've edited academic articles, biographies, blog posts, CD inserts, magazine articles, memos, newsletters, presentations, social media posts, transcripts, and more.

When I'm not editing, you'll find me practicing flute and piano, cross stitching, knitting, hiking, making other sorts of crafts, and listening to classical music. In my spare time I also manage the Instagram account @thefluteresource where I provide flute tips for intermediate and advanced flute players.
